Before the Audit
Get a list ready of any problems or concerns you have before he arrives. Also have summaries of your energy bills over the last 12 months ( you can call your utility company for summaries if don't have them on hand). The auditor will use your energy usage information to help him know where there are potential problems.
What to Expect
Our BPI certified auditor will inspect your home's construction, mechanicals, gas lines, appliances, vents, and insulation. After a thorough inspection, we will provide you with a report identifying safety risks and upgrades that you can implement to make your home safer, more comfortable and energy efficient.

Our BPI certified auditor will perform a series of tests to document the safety, efficiency and comfort of your home. Our audit includes:
- Visual inspection for compliance to BPI standards
- Combustion safety and efficiency test
- Insulation evaluation
- Safety inspection
- Ventilation evaluation
- Infiltration test
- Appliance evaluation
- Blower door test
- Customer education

Click on the picture below to view an insulation install we did. The customer had an Energy Audit done and we had found a large amount of heat loss coming from the house. Insulation and air sealing was recomended to reduce the amount of heat loss and to make the house more comfortable for the family.
